Crawford Sprinkler Company is proud to be one of
America's oldest Fire Sprinkler Companies.

Since 1919, we have served the Southeast designing and installing quality fire sprinkler systems.  Even now, we still find some of these older systems still in service. Since Woodrow Wilson's presidency, we have seen the changes and developments the years have brought. Technological advances have been tremendous and are still ongoing.  We strive to learn and grow with these changes also.  As a team, we are excited as to what lies ahead. We have stood through one depression, wars, and various economic ups and downs.  We are still here and look forward to being a part of the future.  We hope that you will allow us to be a part of your next project.




Company history

Crawford Sprinkler was established in Atlanta, Georgia in 1919. Upon expansion, the company soon branched to several cities including Charlotte, North Carolina in 1930. The Hickory office, established in 1965, was a branch of the Crawford Sprinkler in Charlotte. In 1971, David C. McKinnon purchased the majority stock in the Hickory branch after being a 20-year employee for the company. He ran the business for another 36 years until he passed in November of 2007. Management and ownership still remains in the McKinnon family as Crawford Sprinkler continues to provide quality fire sprinkler systems to the Southeast, as we have for the past 90 years.
